Hanging Drop Seal Features:
Hanging drop seals can be used with standard 96-well microplates. Each seal consists of a high clarity layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The adhesive layer has 96 cutouts, so that each experiment is set up on the clear layer. An optional hanging drop fixture accurate positions the seal onto the deck of a robot and then aligns the seal with the microplate when placing the seal onto the plate.
Features:
- Made from a high clarity, hydrophobic polymer and an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive.
- Clear zone above each well, free of adhesive with hydrophobic lower surface.
- UV-semi-transparent polymer top layer facilitates UV-fluorescence microscopy.
- Recommended for temperatures from 4C to +40C; functional temperature range -40 C to +90 C.
- Black alphanumerics positioned below each zone for easy location identification.
- Removable end tab for easy peal of adhesive cover layer.
